To me it says Gibson is deciding what way to go. Cheap or expensive.

It's bizarre to me that he's interviewing two total opposites. Surely decide on the approach and then interview appropriate people. But whatever, if Jokanovic is in the running and we end up with Woodgate, I'm sure we'll all understand exactly what that means.

I was more meaning - cheap and cheerful with no experience whatsoever vs expensive but quality.

 

Surely we're not deciding which approach on the basis of interviews? I mean Woody might turn up and say "I'm going to manage like Jokanovic but for 20% of the money" but that doesn't mean he actually can do it.

If after 'taking his time over it', SG still chooses Woody it shows a gross disrespect for the intelligence-level of Boro supporters. It's like saying 'we have carefully read the CVs of the two thousand applicants for this job and have decided to appoint from within anyway'. I don't think many people will buy that. Might work at Bulkhaul but not at MFC.

We didn't know if McClaren, Robson or Karanka would be up to it until they were given the chance.. And lets be honest those 3 are the best managers we've had this Ayresome Park.

It might show after meeting Jokanovic that they didn't share the same vision for Middlesbrough's future. As in.. low budget, young players, etc..
