At least it's finally moving on is a bit exciting. 

I think Steve Round is a quality appointment if he's the DoF.

Leo will at least get the fans going and he was more like an assistant to Karanka

Steve Round waa also a highly respected coach before he joined Villa as DoF. Could he be coming in as rhe new 1st team coach?

I still feel Round would be coming in as assistant rather than DoF. How much experience does he actually have as a DoF? 

Anyone feel the potential appointment of Leo/Round tie in with what Steve Crossman wrote on Twitter the other day? They are two coaches who you could see stay at the club for a long duration and work under/with any manager the club appoint.

He left them a year ago. Their transfer strategy was pretty gung-ho and their playing style was essentially the same as ours (under TP) in his time there.

I can’t see Steve round coming in as anything other than DoF. I doubt Leo would leave his current job to be goalkeeper coach

Yes KM. This is my thinking too. And if it is the case I do not mind having that level of continuity given people are performing in their respective roles.

He was but at the same time a lot of the players they brought in last season were playing this season. I’m hoping it was round that set up the deal for McGinn.
