The Transfer Thread.

Recommended Posts

Forget about Pulis and his negative formations for a second.

Surely all the fickle fans who are blaming the manager for the past 3 seasons now understand there is massive problems behind the scenes and that Gibson isn't prepared/risk to pump into the club anymore especially when parachute payments finish at the end of this season.

The fans have been let down in transfer windows since 2016 (apart from the summer transfer window where Monk got it all wrong and we are now paying for it!)

Reality is we need to get the big wage earners out of the club before we can spend money. You have players like Gestede on massive wages on a lengthy contract and no other club understandably wants to take them on.

As a lot of fans cannot see the bigger picture, Pulis will take the blame from fans because of his negative tactics. - I understand his 5 cm formation at home is completely ridiculous.

Pulis has also made mistakes like any other manager for example spending on McNair and not playing him.

Fans should be looking closer to home at the messiah untouchable Steve Gibson who has ripped Off the paying customer for the past 4 seasons.

Recruitment team and Gibson are too blame for the lack of pace and attacking within the team as they wanted to cut costs and weren't prepared to spend to get players in.

Speculation stating that Murphy agreed to come on loan, but boro weren't prepared to pay a loan fee backs this up.

Never the less the fans should be supporting the players on the pitch for 90mins and vent there frustration when the final whistle blows.

Gibson will see the effects when season ticket renewals come out and fans stop purchasing merchandise.

Traore got lost on the A19 then, did he?

Sick of the word "fickle" being used to describe fans who have their own opinions. Especially when being posted by someone ignoring double standards.

"It was all monks fault in his transfer window".....but then we excuse pulis of everything since, it's all the recruitment teams fault?

Pulis has more than one huge issue. Yes he plays boring hoof ball. But that isn't the whole problem. His recruitment has been (at very best) bang average. He has weakened the squad through his signings. And he would have weakened it further if he had been given any more money.

Got to be some serious questions asked. I don’t know why we would sign Mikel and then not have the cash for a loan fee for Murphy/Traore. That stinks of Pulis - time the dinosaur went extinct...

If you think the Gazette are going to ask as single critical question you'll have to wait a long time. It's been long established that they practically work for the club.

Yeah the fall out happened with the EG went to town on Agnew/Karanka. So for them to back in bed together, you would think they are pulling the party line again.

HAHA. At 4 o'clock yesterday they went to the pub for a pint knowing that nothing was going to happen.

How shocking a statement is that. We didn't work aaaaaaard to get deals done. We didn't scour the markets till the last minute. No, we were completely inept and happy with that so went for a pint, with a Cheshire cat grin on his face.

Complete contempt for the paying fans.

So the club have basically made the same mistake as they did in the Strahan era. Incredible they didn't learn from it! And now we're entering the Mowbray era again... hope it's not long until the Karanka one ?

My main gripe with this is no one seems to be accountable for it, apart from Monk getting sacked, but these problems already existed before he was here.

How about Pulis walking... That's what we want.

That will come

No chance he’s walking now, after doing a press conference and saying all that. Just hope he parts ways in the summer.

Basically sounds like the club are skint but why not say that instead of promising to sign attacking players? Looks like it will be all downhill from here now!

As I said last night, I don’t think there’s a hope in hells chance that he will quit whilst there is a possibility that he might receive his big fat promotion bonus.
