why are we signing / trying to sign players before knowing who our new manager will be? surely our woeful recruitment dept need to cool their jets - or is to keep making the same mistakes written into their job descriptions?

To be fair, the only way to snap up the decent free signings is to act quick. Its low risk. Do you think the manager had any say in us signing wing, and look how he turned out

After a quick twitter search - Paylor says there “could” be a change of manager, nothing much else is coming up.

 

The gazette would surely be making more of this if it was really happening.
