Also we have a striker we will probably sell who would cover that guys fee but are already stuck with a few midfielders.

Does anyone know much about this yearwood

Yeah it's almost like we have different valuations for different players.

The 'we' are the same people who put down 1.3 million plus for Julien De Sart I'm not full of faith that they know how to value players you hate to say a Yearwood fee would be nominal but in world where our midfield's full of 6/7 million pound players you'd think if we rate this19 year old holding midfielder with 60+ professional games under his belt around their 500k asking price we'd do it in a heartbeat, we've paid more for U23 squad signings.

Sounds like you're saying our recruitment team don't have a clue what they're doing ?

Don’t see that big a turnaround in playing personnel this summer so think some fans are in for disappointment. Think it will be a relatively quiet window both in terms of sales and incomings. Do see us brining in a couple of Premier League loans though. Can see a great reliant on youth next season.

I mean, that's basically what everyone from the club has been saying, so yeah I would agree with that lol.

Gotta wonder whether we keep Armstrong or Walker around this year or if they both go on loan again.

Personally,I'd rather have Lucy Bronze Than Braithwaite up front

Good decision Woody! Can’t believe some fans wanted Paddy gone already without giving him a proper chance.

Did fans want him gone or did fans just accept that unfortunately he's the most saleable of our 500 central midfielders.

fair enough, but remember we have around 8 CM's at the moment, some of them have to leave, so who?

Interesting that Woody also sees Tav as a CM. I think he may deploy a diamond formation with Tav at the top of a diamond, Saville and Wing just behind and Clayton or McNair holding maybe?

Clayton, Saville, Howson, Wing, McNair + a kid gives us cover for the centre 3 of the expected 4-3-3, if we get an offer we can't refuse then sell, but don't say we'll accept the first bid when Sheff Utd have just banked £100m

But for me McNair has the ability to be better than all of them.

Brunners, I’ve read a lot of comments writing him off as a player as opposed to being our must saleable asset.

KM,

I personally, believe that CB is the area we can afford to sell players 1 or 2  from Ayala, Shotton & Flint, though getting rid of Gestede & Johnson must be a priority plus Braithwaite if we get a good offer.

    • Must admit im gutted  at the performance & result today but being optimistic in nature,im hoping the remaining games against mid table opposition might give the team the chance to get the neccessary points,Might be clutching at straws but hopefully the 'Benidorm Factor' will come into play against Millwall ,Reading,Qpr & Bristol City,
    • I think I'm of the same mindset, confidence booster against Stoke, Hull in shocking form, no nonsense manager who seems to find the way and  get the best out of the players, and I've  definitely had my bubble burst today. So can Warnock polish a turd we're about to find out. Prediction for Sunday, I haven't got one because I don't  bloody know what will turn up,
    • I agree with Fletch over Britt, but if we go with 1 striker I think we play right into QPR's hands they'll be happy with that given how poor we are in attack.
    • I hope todays result proves a positive in weeks to come. I felt after stoke few different sections of those connected with club began to get carried away and thought safety was a formality. I certainly felt some of us fans did (myself included) as I was starting to even think lets become mathematically safe before Cardiff game so we can enjoy last 2 games with a peace of mind. There were also sections of media that thought safety was a formality with Warnock in charge. I cannot speak for the players as to what they thoughts are but if they thought "oh warnock is here, we simply need to turn up and give 6 out of 10 and we be fine" then hopefully this result will have woken them up to the reality of situation like it has the rest of us. I am still confident we can get the 8/9pts from the 6 remaining games we need but ultimately everyone connected with the club needs to realise we will need to work our absolute bo**ocks to get them 8/9 pts and stop thinking its a given.
    • Yeh well if your out of form and you need a confidence boost come to the Riverside satisfaction guaranteed. In all honesty this game has knocked the stuffing out of me, would have been disappointed with a draw before the game, but same old same old ,but  I should be used to this by now.
