Ex-Stoke player, and a Stoke fan from Stoke who still lives in Stoke, can't see it being much more than that.

Teamtalk saying we're 1 of 12 Championship clubs in for Carter-Vickers on loan.

Still think the same on Fry 30 million he's yours after a season in this pressing system I guarantee that lad will be hunted next summer by the big boys in the top 8. Still hoping it's Diangana on loan who we're in for a left footed RW would be perfect I just hope he's open to going on loan.

If we sell Fry late there's no way he can be replaced adequately we probably have a contingency I think best case we bleed Wood in a little more this season then if we sell Fry next summer step him into the role.

Well if that goes through we are definitely in for a very busy 4 days. I know his performances have not been great lately but I imagine in the pool of players we are looking k at we are not guaranteed to get better. Still a large wage off the books and with Woodgate being a CB no doubt he knows what he is looking for.

I've just realised that I've been confusing Cameron Carter-Vickers with Jake Clark-Salter

Bloody double barrelled surnames!??

Shotton owns a pub in Stoke still - can't see there being anything in it.

I call him Camilla Parker-Bowles. Not to his face, I mean not because I'm scared of him...

I hear Ryan Shotton has a Stoke City tattoo across his chest and a framed picture of Nick Hancock in every room of his house.

Middlesbrough are believed to have made a third offer for Charlton’s £2m-rated full-back Anfernee Dijksteel, while free agent Alan Hutton has been discussed.

But Woodgate is also wanting improvements in other areas, including an attacking midfielder. He has not added an extra striker to his ranks so far either, although as things stand he does have plenty options in that area.

Is he injured?

No but somebody mentioned we need an extra CM because if Wing is injured we have no creativity.

Michael Frey, one of the names of Fenerbahce's new season squad, once again on the radar of the British ... Middlesbrough who was knocking on the door of yellow-lacivertliler for the Swiss striker was claimed to come with a second offer. Island press reports; The British team was insistent on the 25-year-old striker.

A? Jamie for finding link. Translation via google.

    • I don't even blame the majority of the people getting on the trains because most of them will be key workers. However, if we can't manage the situation better then the tube would be better off just being closed, doctors and nurses could be put up in hotels close to their place of work or taxis should be laid on.  A packed tube will be like an incubator for the virus and the situation surely can't carry on like this. Another point is that apparently the construction sites are still supposed to be working as normal in London which will also add to the passenger numbers on public transport. Why aren't the government clamping down on the construction industry?  I'm glad to have lived in a society where we have a lot of freedom but in the current situation I think the government needs to exert more control especially in London.
    • I mean, it was a stupid ass decision to reduce the number of services in the hope it would reduce the number of people per tube. Khan is saying drivers are self-isolating or are ill themselves. Obviously the latter is unavoidable but given the scale of the tube usage, surely tube drivers should be considered key workers too? How many of them will be in self-enforced isolation who could feasibly be working? Though I'm willing to bet it's not just key workers who are using them and perhaps an alternative is to start ensuring valid reasons for travel instead of just letting anyone use them. There's potential problems with all of the solutions but the main problem as ever is the people who use them. I lived there, anyone else who has or does and has dealt with the Central Line for a short period of time, never mind the 3 years I did, will know it feels like 90% of the people going to work in the capital every day felt they were more important and more significant to the world than the people around them, the very peak of the capitalist society we live in where some people would step on their dead grandmother for an extra few bob. It gets in your bones too, it's almost beyond your control to be the same as them because you know as soon as you hold open a metaphorical door for the more vulnerable, those who are perfectly fine will capitalise on your good gesture and will never give you credit for your good deed. This virus has levelled the playing field significantly in that we are reminded about how individually, we are all important and all our individual decisions can impact so many other people. The maths is simple. If you can feasibly do so, staying at home is going to be hugely positive in delaying the spread of this virus. It's important that those of us who can, do so, in order to allow those who can't to be less at risk.
    • It's sounding most likely that the season will be completed in June/July behind closed doors.
    • We would even settle for you up front Alan with Teddy as your support striker 😂
