We're not in the upper echelon of Championship teams anymore and we need to bring our expectations in line with that. A little tip get yerself on Ebay and search testicles. Have to agree Brunners this is the result of the play off semi final against Villa and the way we went about it and the awful football we endured last season.

I still think Shotton will be needed at some point, this season.

Naisby 736
Our squad is very thin, and we playing with a new style and new players in key positions, I think we will be around 12-14 at end of season but thats what I was expecting, Anything higher is a bonus but I think over the season our squad too thin and we going to be over reliant on the versatility of players. Naisby 736
Once you hit Birmingham, unless it’s to the Liverpool/Manchester bubble everyone in the north is the same, football now is south centric,
LBP 3,035
So is the squad strong or really thin? ?
uncle_rico 387
Are we really going into the season hoping we don't get any injuries? God forbid if any of Britt, Ayala, Fry or Wing pick up another injury. All have form! The squad is paper thin and we've had months to sort it, yet once again we've failed miserably. Really feel for Woodgate. He's been open and honest with fans and the local press, yet I think the club (or rather Gibson, Bausor and Bevington) have let him down badly. I'm happy with Browne, Bola and Dijksteel, but they are all league one players. Its a big ask for them to make the step up immediately. We needed so much more.
