chipchat 61
Count me in the #3 club as a former left-back.
TLF10 4,497
Totally agree @Blanco. Was hoping he would take that now it was free. All i want is the following at all clubs. 1. GK 2. RB 3. LB 4. CB or DM 5. CB (not a DM) 6. CB or DM 7. Offensive player 8. CM ideally but can live with it being anyone but a defender 9. A striker and that is it. Non negotiable 10. Offensive player. Ideally your main playmaker 11. Offensive player. After no.11 you can do as you please. I mean we as fans are not asking much. Just a little bit of respect for tradition. Why am i still typing on this topic when i said rant over in my last post?!! Sorry. I am going. Knew i should not have clicked on this thread. 1 1
Brunners 7,982
Randolph likes the number 23, I don't really see the issues with it - let the man be comfortable in a number he likes best!

George 'Gold' Boateng disagrees with your #7 analysis, I quite like #7 for a defensive mid because of George. Also, to add to the horrible squad numbers for players, John Obi Mikel taking the #2 last year and our gaffer Johnny Woodgate taking the #8 during his first spell.

I will forgive George as he was immense. Yeah our new gaffer then seemed to like no.39. I wanted him as our no.6 as that was Southgates numbee Yeah Obi at 2 would have annoyed me any other season but i had enough to whinge about last season with TP that i overlooked it.
