That was a very entertaining game, I can't even say shame about the result because nearly all of us were expecting to get beaten today.

If we could defend we'd be pushing for promotion this season.

Great game, really enjoyed it. Pity we couldnt come out with 3 points. Defence is a massive concern but it's a lot of fun to watch!

Called 2-2 in the OP. one cookie for me!

Not a bad result at Bristol, but we could easily have won it.

Cracking save by Bentley at the end there.

Think that was our best performance of the season for me, shaky defensively at times but I think we knew that might be likely this year.

Great game, good performance and all things considered a good result.

The fact I’m disappointed with not getting 3 is a positive, I expected us to lose today.

Best match of the season. Showed some good attacking football. Need to sort out the nervousness at the back. But pleasing signs. Thought Dijksteel was good, Clayton excellent and Johnson/McNair are like 2 completely different (very good!) players.

2-2 is probably an overall fair result. However, our defensive mistakes are to blame for their goals again. Impressed with how well we attacked, though.

Once we have Fry back upto speed and Ayala alongside, hopefully the defence will sort itself out but we played very well today against a team many though would rip us apart. Dijksteel and Bola look very good and Paddy is a changed man.

We really need to start turning draws into wins if we are to make the playoffs as it's what killed us last year too

    • Boro flashback this day 22nd November 1986                       Newport County 0 Boro 1 The face of advercity bandwagon is rolling on brilliantly & gathering pace, up to the Newport game we had played 16 league games & suffered 2 defeats, along with 4 league cup matches & one defeat against a team in a higher league & in to extra time, this from the same 12 players who had no summer practise matches, no friendlies, just training in local parks with jumpers as goal posts, the season was far better than the most optimistic of us Boro supporter could dream of  Bruce couldnt ask for any more from his players With the clock ticking down to the 90 minutes mark & the game finishing goaless at Somerton Park, it was looking like our 1st ever fixture on this ground was to be points shared, but, the mighty Boro & Boro legend Mogga had other ideas, we have a corner & with time almost over 'Tony Mowbray' nods home to score the vital winner & the ref blows the whistle, its full time, we take all three points back & the Boro fans, with the 5 hour journey, 300 miles back to Teesside to look forward to are ecstatic  Brucy Riochs red & white army team is Stephen Paers Brian Laws Colin Cooper Tony Mowbray Gary Parkinson Gary Pallister Bernie Slaven Archie Stephens Alan Kernaghan Gary Gill Stuart Ripley SUB Gary Hamilton on for Alan Kernaghan
    • Spurs might finally win something though, so maybe it's a tradeoff they are willing to make.
    • Narrow win here for me I reckon. I'll say 2-1, Britt and Ayala with the goals
