This just highlights how bad Spence positional play really is 🤷‍♂️

Of Antonio Brown? God damn man, where to start. Here are a number of things that he's done, mostly this off season but a couple date back to prior years. 1. Wants out of Pittsburgh - makes i

Shocking application of the fumble touchback rule in the Chiefs Browns game!

Chose to ignore the fact it was helmet to helmet contact as well

Why should it be a touchback?

Why no review allowed?

Some odd rules in NFL

Still supporting the team that plays the Chiefs!

It's unfortunately the correct application of a stupid rule. There's absolutely no reason that a fumble like that should go to the defence. If you fumble out of bounds on the rest of the field you keep the ball. Just send them back to the 20 or something if you fumble through the end zone.

They DID miss the head to head penalty though, but the problem is calls/non calls for penalties are not reviewable so they probably saw it on the reviews and were like "well we're gonna get slated for missing that..." the NFL / Refs don't want reviews because they don't want their feelings to be hurt. It's the whole kerfuffle with the PI review from last year. They brought it in, they reviewed a bunch, the refs office refused to reverse any calls basically regardless of how wrong they were. They took the review out again this offseason claiming it was pointless.

It was pointless because the refs made it so.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the touchback fumble rule changed this offseason though; that was a high profile enough mistake / issue that it's going to be talked about for a while. I know you can't really look at it this way because had they scored there the game changes and maybe Mahomes doesn't get hurt, but they lost 6/7 points there and lost the game by 5 so you can't help but feel a little aggrieved.

On the topic of Mahomes, will be very interesting to see if he plays next week. If the NFL were serious about concussion protocols, being knocked out of a game like that should be an automatic sitting for a week or more because of how dangerous concussions can be, but I'd be amazed if he doesn't pass all the tests and be declared fit for the weekend.

@SmogDane congrats! This image is appropriate

Tom Brady has done it again. Aaron Rodgers another Playoff defeat

He bottled that last chance on 3rd down.

He might have got the TD but at least 4th and short and a chance of a TPC to tie

Instead they take a FG? Doesn't figure

Don't like Brady but prefer him to to Mahomes
