Borodane 6,301
Let’s hope the attackers on the pitch delivers today because our bench is woefully thin. Hope Ayala is fit asap so he can replace shotton.
boroie 484
Lets do this! Weird after the last season and a half that it feels Johnson is in our strongest team on merit... Still though, hope he takes his chances and continues to play well. I think we'll batter them but draw due to continued bad officiating. 1-1 or 2-2. Britt and Fry.

So unenthusiastic about this game and I think the lack of interest in the match thread just highlight fans have the same view. Be interesting to see what sort of atmosphere is round the stadium today. The club has got what it wants by lowering the fans expectations. I'm going for 1-1 draw but every time I'm unenthusiastic regarding the Book's chance, we win! Looking forward to seeing how Bola and Dijksteel get on today against readings 2 attackin wingers. Come On The Boro! honestly believe that most of us just want to see improvement game by game, we were unlucky against Bristol and things tend to even themselves out and maybe starting today. A win will boost confidence of that I am sure

We were unlucky against Brentford We were unlucky against Millwall. We should have 5 points more than we do currently as an absolute minimum.

They was a stat on BBC Boro have dropped the most points from winning position 6 out of any team in the championship if we had them 6 points we'd be in the playoffs fine margins

When does it stop being ‘unlucky’ and start being down to quality though?

Red Rocket 244
I mean the quality of the refs has been woeful, I wouldn't put that down to bad luck either.

When results stop being directly influenced by referees, then it does. I was specifically talking about Brentford and Millwall, where refereeing decisions cost us 2 clear goals and 3 penalties that massively change the outcome of games.

Brunners 7,982
Shotton looks like he might struggle with Meite today, outpaced Shotton a couple times, although to be fair he's done well to get back involved both times.
