It was just talk as our first choice was Pulis, not Woodgate, in which case the new style etc wouldn't have happened anyway. Final post before returning to self imposed exile.  We seem to have co

im in the same camp as BD .  ive gone through plenty of bad times in the past as well as wonderful times .  ive seen players ranging from  absolute top quality down to rank bad .  right now what i see

I don't think it's all bad. We just need a few players in the  January window. Two centre backs. Two fullbacks. Two centre midfielders and two wingers. And two forwards.

It's always been like that.

St Andrews is not a happy place for us, we'll get beaten tonight.

2-0, probably.

I might have a parmo.

Certainly I was happy with last seasons visit seen some good games at St Andrews over recent seasons.

Food wise chicken stir fry and rice!

Come on Boro... a win tonight will give everyone a good lift! I like that the wingers got dropped, shows that even with a limited squad passengers won't be accepted. Tav always seems to look good when I watch us, surprised it's taken this long for him to get a start.

I wonder if Fletcher deserves a go at CF? As I do sympathise with him in that he always has to play out of position, and Britt is hardly playing great right now.

Would like to see the same back 4 for a prolonged period, or they're never going to gel together.

He was absolutely woeful against Crewe Alexandra, which was his chance to stake a claim, and that's the reason Woodgate has given for him not starting before now.

Tbf haven’t lost there since 2012 and won our last two! Having said that, I also see it as a dodgy place for us. Hopefully we’ll do them in, Utfb

I'm looking for a similar performance to Tuesday. I think if we get that then we can nick it. I think 1-0 either way and I hope it goes for Boro

Since wood gates appointment I have held my tongue and hoped he would prove me wrong. Unfortunately he hasn’t, I see nothing in the team to make me think we will pick up our first away win of the season against a side we normally do well against. 2-0 to the blues to me make me feel even more blue

I always remember it as a crap place for us for some reason, too. I think my first taste of Brum away was Clinton Morrison's double, think it was around Christmas sometime in 04/05, maybe? I seem to remember we were rubbish that game. But then there has also been the game with that incredible Viduka volley and I seem to recall us winning 3-0 there once when Franck scored a header.
