@Lurker, @diggerlad07 @Smoggydownsouth and all the other ITK posters. Thank you for all the ITK info you guys share. Think i speak for everyone when i say it is much appreciated. Without it the l

Roberts is done. As someone has said, Ayala is on £25k a week. Don’t know what he’s been offered but I can’t believe it would be £5k. Randolph is gone, assume it’s West Ham.    5 more

I agree Marvin Johnson is an alright squad player who covers many positions especially left back. However if someone offer's anything like £4 million you've got to snap their hands off

Oh absolutely @DurhamRed but not a chance in hell we are getting £4m for him. Why would anyone pay £4m given he out of contract in 6mths? Makes zero sense. Think that bit is lazy journalism.

That Britt article that has been mentioned is no up on Gazette website. In short Woodgate says

1. a fit britt is 100% part of his plans.

2. He nor trying to fool anyone with his injury. He has tried to train but struggled.

3. Went to see specialist on Thursday. Out for a further 10days to 2wks.

4. All top teams in this league have 4 strikers and now we do too.

Gazette said it would be up straight away tomorrow morning. The Northern echo released it tonight

100% agree on this. In Woody we see a manager that was injured a lot during his career and also observed 1st hand rushing people has had knock on impacts e.g. Friend.

I suspect he is taking his time on the players. Especially considering right now we have won 4 on the bounce.

Why rush a player for one game and have him out for 10.

As for the convienance of around Transfer Window. Its just purely speculation if this happened in October or February no one would be even wagging the tails thinking something more sinister is afoot.

The Scottish Sun reporting that we're in for Aiden McGeady.

I can't see it, myself, but he was half-decent a few seasons ago.

Everything was going so well then Madine and mcgeady pop up 😵

Clarke’s a player. Now I’d love him here.

The Leeds fans I’ve spoken to say he’s very raw. Which is the exact word I would use to describe him from the times I’ve seen him play. He has a great future ahead of him, no doubt, but for us right now, considering we would only have him for 6 months, I think we could do with a more ‘finished’ player. Although I am aware that those aren’t easy to find on loan in January.

lol didn’t see that coming...... oh wait!

As much as we question the info of some of the peeps on here, I suggest we throw the same pinch of salt over whatever 'quotes' the Daily M**l pull up. My suspicion is that the article is not being written based on anything factual other than West Ham's interest and our refusal to sell for a pittance, Randolph getting involved and being desperate to go back where he was desperate to leave seems a bit questionable to me.

Personally, I’d sell Assombalonga  in a heartbeat; so overrated it’s actually mind boggling. The odd good performance mixed in with consistent displays where his general play is nothing short of atrocious - that would pretty much sum up his Middlesbrough career for me.

Take the cash if we have any sense.
