BoroSmoggie 2,710
So we are back to having no natural wingers in the team for the foreseeable future 😞 Unless you count Johnson.. As mentioned, now need an attacker and a CB minimum.
TeaCider24 12,646
Even without a new attacking signing, it highlights the desperate need for a CB. We can push McNair back in to midfield without dropping anyone.
smogsterking the Inspirati 2,490
I wonder if the deal for Roberts does have an extension on it for after this season. As he could potentially not be back until April which is a massive chunk if it was a short term deal. It might give a bigger opportunity for Nmecha to get a decent run though.
Borodane 6,301
If Woodgate reverts to 4-4-3 it could be Nmecha and Fletcher either side of Britt. Not too bad but certainly missing the pace and trickery of Roberts.
BoroJake 2,345
On the bright side at least Robert's won't have time to impress so hopefully we will be able to get him for a full year next year 3
BelgianBoro 765
Roberts impressed me in the short time he's been here and fit(ish) - let's already start negotiating with Citeh before the summer window opens. Hope we can get another player with a low centre of gravity (read short) before tomorrow evening as we're missing an exciting game changer.
Dan_Boro_Till_I_Die 1,181
Ayala is six weeks too. I mean will he actually play for us again this season by the time his fitness is back up to speed?

DurhamRed 2,047
So we finally sign a half decent Winger in Roberts and he's out for 2 months 😩.

But highlights the need to get in fitter, younger CB's
Changing Times 12,347
Regarding central defenders, Fry's injury was just a tightening wasn't it? Nothing too serious and the rest should have helped with that. Shotton and Friend will be back in the first team in time for the Barnsley game by the sounds of it. We'll only be missing Ayala at that point so we're not in as bad a position as it seems, whether we sign anyone or not. Borodane 6,301
Let's hope Roberts is 6 weeks counting from last Tuesday when he was injured.

Our two best performances of the season came before he signed and we haven't won a game that he's played in 🤔
