January transfer window 19/20 season Post Mortem

Recommended Posts

If spending the whole of last season at Oxford didn't help Browne to get his temperament under control and refine his attitude, I'm not sure going back there for what's left of this season will make a dramatic difference. There's definitely a player in there, but based on his performances for us, I wouldn't be too sorry if he left permanently in the summer.

Roberts is done. As someone has said, Ayala is on £25k a week. Don’t know what he’s been offered but I can’t believe it would be £5k. Randolph is gone, assume it’s West Ham.    5 more

Browne gone back to Oxford on loan

Best for him get playing in a promotion chasing side that he was apart of so knows the club area so should settle in easily. It's alot better than him staying here playing u21 football

Aye, glad to see him go back there given his current situation, shame it hasn't worked out here so far but there's still plenty of time yet. I hope he smashes it.

'It' being a football and not some unlucky player I hope...

Moyes on Darren Randolph: “He's been carrying a bit of an injury for several weeks and we have to make sure that heals. I'm very hopeful that will happen."

on bevinton. he was just management he'll have had nothing to do with actual players etc. he would have just been brought in to help organise the club and ensure everyone is doing there jobs in the system. he'll have been on a fortune to. maybe like other high management he's just done his bit and moving on to another project like they always do.

Also says his contract's up in the summer they're hesitant to renew because of his wage expectations, he's made 80 appearances for Gallen over 3 years, he's 6 ft 5 but is he Leutwiler in disguise?

Nominal fee I'd guess maybe a few hundred thousand on paper he's coming in as a backup to Pears it'll be interesting.

Probably just an experienced back-up, would cost next to nothing. Could be a decent keeper, only need to look at Dubravka at Newcastle and how he has turned out.
