Roberts is done. As someone has said, Ayala is on £25k a week. Don’t know what he’s been offered but I can’t believe it would be £5k. Randolph is gone, assume it’s West Ham.    5 more

Anyone know if Woodgate discussed transfers in his press conference please?

Nothing on the radio interview. Said the squad has been thin all year and just got on with it. The questioning was hardly focused though.

Not particularly. Said he just laughed when Ayala went down injured and wondered if he had been walking under ladders with Randolph, Britt, Dijksteel, Shotton, friend and now Ayala injured

Gonna throw this out there... Howson is an absolute must to tie down if we are continuing with the youth policy... he is the consummate professional in my opinion. I know he isn't everyone's cup of tea but he is the sort of bloke you would take into war with you.

I agree, totally underated IMO. He is doing great at right back/ centre back. Also he is captain material too.

Good to see the kind of players we are being linked with. Young, pace, power and players that want to get team football.

Would be interesting if we could get both Maddison and Roberts in that would give us pace on the wingers. A number 10 and support at the back and I think we could be challenging.

Listening to Woodgate's post-match interview on Tees he was definitely sending a message to the powers that be to tie Howson down to a new contract.

Howson was anonymous when he first joined, seemed utterly pointless signing him. Now I can't imagine a Boro team without him in, one way or another. His experience has come to the fore a lot over the months since he's joined and particularly this season. I'd definitely like to keep him.

5 more in. Woody thinks we’re ahead of where he wanted us to be at this stage. Gibson is fully behind him and hasn’t shirked at all.
