Fingers crossed BD is right and this isn't an ongoing thing - still think he will be an important player for us if we can utilise him correctly.

Why Woody seems so convinced he can play that deep role will forever frustrate me!

Cos he's not that good at his job? 😲

@Lurker, @diggerlad07 @Smoggydownsouth and all the other ITK posters. Thank you for all the ITK info you guys share. Think i speak for everyone when i say it is much appreciated. Without it the l

Roberts is done. As someone has said, Ayala is on £25k a week. Don’t know what he’s been offered but I can’t believe it would be £5k. Randolph is gone, assume it’s West Ham.    5 more

Anyone that doesn't think Gibbo would be a good signing for the Boro needs to get to specsavers.

Him & Ayala fit alongside Spence and Coulson would be immense

Again.. if he's fit and on a sensible wage then fine. He was excellent for us as a player.

If we are paying him big wages then I think it's a gamble especially after his recent injuries.

It's the sort of signing that the club were supposed to be moving away from.

He's hardly had a terrible fitness record, he's just not played many games. He was available for the majority of the time he's been at Burnley, with the exception of a hernia issue last year.

Supposed niggles this season, may or may not have been just as much down to his relationship with Dyche

I can’t see us going back to a 4 at the back system now. Spence and Coulson don’t suit the system and Woodgate said that he didn’t want to play Spence as a rb. Maybe we would go back if Spence didn’t break in but that ship has sailed now tbh. It doesn’t help that we seem to concede at least 3 goals every time he plays it too.

He said he didn’t want to play Spence in a back 4 because he only had 1 fit CD. If we had two specialist CDs he’d be more easy with it. That’s how I understood it anyway.

I think this is the reason too. Can't remember who said it, but:

"If you haven't got two good centre halves, play three."
