They'll finish this off 2nd half our line was crooked at 1 0 up at 2 1 down chasing we'll get caught out plenty 2nd half could see 3 1 or 4/5 I can't see 2 2 happening. We look so amateur in possession I can't see a comeback happening.

Well it was nice leading for a few minutes.

Please get this useless prat out of our club. Our defending is almost keystone cops this season.

You can't blame Woodgate for that.  That is pure bad luck.

We actually HELP teams beat us...as if they needed it...

Overall it was a fairly even first half. Think 1-1 would have been fair. Boro actually looked moderately impressive and played some nice football.

However they went into their shells in the last 5-10 minutes, invited pressure, comedy defending...and the inevitable happened.

Defending poor for first goal. Unfortunate for second, the man marking hall is blocked off perfectly by QPR to give him the free header. Randolph saves and Howson just happens to be stood there.

Just how the season is going, for 35 minutes today we were by far the better team, robbed of a goal IMO by another poor officiating decision and now losing 2-1.

Don't have it in me to be mad anymore. What will be will be.

Is it seriously not down to Woodgate that our defence is the most vulnerable it's been in years? Everytime a team come forward we look like conceding.

Totally appreciate not every OG is his fault, but our defending is miserable

I want to have a rant but i cant this has been one of the better performances this season in the first half, which is why its so annoying we are behind.

We didn't collapse.  We conceded a goal due to bad defending and then one due to bad luck.  It's not great but we've played worse, that's not saying much like.

    • Now woodgate is gone theres absolutely no reason why warnock wouldnt have been taking credit for that. Think it was all rubbish
    • Read up on Amer, Kitching, McCullagh and Duffield if you want a catalogue of disastrous Boro chairman, the club really was flying by the seat of its pants under those guys.
    • Understand what you are saying, but back then you didn't have as big a problem with shabby owners that'll ruin the club over night if they think it's fun. There is so much at risk these days with all the money in play, so you need some sort of rules off the pitch too. It'll hurt the fans no doubt, like this one, but with Wigan you need to lay a lot of the blame at the EFL fit and proper test.
    • Who was it who came up with that one? It seems incredibly unlikely.
    • Call me old fashioned but I prefer the league positions to be settled on the pitch, not off it. I don’t care how well run or badly run a club is, the idea is to beat them with the team that you have on the pitch. Docking points from struggling clubs only helps the bigger and stronger clubs, the owners don’t get punished, just the fans and the players, that’s just rotten.    If these draconian rules were in place in 1986, we would have started the 86/87 season on minus 12 points and would never have have got out of the third tier that season and Rioch and the players legacy would be very different. Of all fans, Boro fans should have real sympathy for any teams that struggle financially.
