1 point from safety, shame we didn't win but I'm reasonably happy tonight.

Definitely seems like we need a defensive coach, just cannot defend balls in to the box.

Not a bad point. Need to be winning our home games though.

Glad Britt has some goals and hopefully will be more confident now

Glad we've stopped the rot and to see Britt discovering how to score again. Hull and Barnsley home games are great opportunities for us to get out the drop zone. Onwards and upwards

I'm just wondering with no VAR in the Championship should it be mandatory for the  linesmen  to wear binoculars strapped to their heads.

Gazette saying Browne could be back after international break so hopefully he on bench v Hull.

Article also states Shotton out until December.

That leaves Rudy (also December) and Sav (back for Leeds at end of Nov) as other senior players out.

Jonathan Woodgate praises Middlesbrough's 'real fans' and ignores 'keyboard warriors'

A na√Įve comment from an inexperienced guy that's out of his depth in a managerial role. His instinct is to turn it into insults instead of trying to act like a manager who should try to bring everyone together, especially at a time that we're in the relegation zone and in awful form. Maybe he got too excited and arrogant after we picked up one whole point today instead of losing again. He has won 2 wins in 16 league games so anyone reasonable would consider any criticism, whether online or in a stadium, as completely understandable. He's just a bit of a pillock.

Pack your briefcase Mr Woodgate your out of The Riverside asap .

Apparently the reason for him wearing the tracksuit at todays game and not his suit was because its at the cleaners being cleaned for his job interviews that are coming up this week.

    • We didn't keep it down though, the wage bill for that season was ¬£43m!¬† Our wage bill in the Premier League season was only ¬£57m.¬† Add another ¬£5m and ¬£7m respectively for social security costs as well.
    • So you know what those players were on at previous clubs do you?¬† Your missing the point in what I said, I never said decrease in salary from a previous club? I said they won't need much of a basic salary increase because a significant signing on fee would be more than acceptable to entice them to join along with the agents getting a sweater. Braithwaite was given a ¬£2million signing on fee as was Randolph. Like I stated, I don't know what Randolph was on at West Ham but that signing on fee must of been enough to entice him to drop down a division (regardless of been 1st choice or not) ¬†
    • Completely agree. Nunthorpered is more or less bang on with who the big earners are but Friend is up there too unfortunately.¬†
    • And yet the players who seem to earn the most here recently have tended to be those same players signed over that period regardless of any large signing on fees they were paid.¬† A ¬£5k per week decrease in salary over three years is ¬£750k.¬† Double it and double the amount.¬† ¬£500k wouldn't be enough to cover those types of losses.
    • If all that is true then the one good thing about that window is that we managed to keep the wage budget down instead of just giving them all massive wages. So it could be worse. Glad to hear that someone like fletcher and Shotton aren‚Äôt¬†on¬†30k if what you‚Äôve been told is true¬†
