Boro v Barnsley 1-0 (Fletcher)

Recommended Posts

Their keeper has made 4 or 5 critical saves this half alone, yet somehow also looks like he has lumps of butter on the end of his arms instead of hands.

Pears has been poor.

Now 64% possession to Barnsley. How far are we sitting back, in the stands

We're sitting so far back their keeper is going to get mom.

Couple of shaky moments although weather conditions are terrible for keepers. He hasn't had too much to do though.

Thanks. So nothing to inspire confidence that he's ready to step up if - as seems likely - Randolph leaves in Jan.

I know that it isn't fair to compare the two, but it is such an important position for us.

Could bola maybe actually play rb? It’s the 90th minute and they keep getting down his side

Shows the state of our game when we are so nervous about throwing away a win to the bottom club in this league who we narrowly and undeserved win. Its a false dawn

Will take that, but Christ if you're of a Barnsley persuasion you must feel robbed. On to a tough game against Leeds next. Not looking forward to that.

Dare I say it we actually seem to be clicking and being creative these last couple of games I have watched. Bar a that red card we would have 6 from the last 2. Tav and Britt have really started to look decent for us.

Just an easy game against Leeds next now 😏

    • It could be a number of things to be honest, have you tried connecting it to an external monitor or a TV first and then booting it up? If it works fine on an external source then you have a screen issue.  If it doesn't work on an external source then it's probably a corrupt system file causing it. The easiest way to fix that would be to wipe the hard drive and reinstall your operating system (you should have a CD-ROM that came with the laptop in order to do this. Connect your laptop to a TV or monitor first though so you can see what you're doing!)
    • Hi all, just after a bit of help. I'm trying to reset my laptop. It is a fair few years old now and has been through the ringer, a fair few times it has hit the wall and I have managed to fix it by myself, but this one seems beyond my capabilities.  This issue has been going on a while but I'm only just getting round to it since I finally have some free time. When I turn my laptop on, It makes the noise as if it is loading, but I just get a black screen (it is still backlit but nothing ever appears). I have tried the Novo one button reset, which actually brought up a screen for the first time in lord knows how long.  However, no matter what option I choose, it then goes back to a black screen.    Anybody with any ideas at all on how to fix it or what's wrong? I was using it as a media server for Plex before it left so there were a lot of files on there that may have corrupted if that helps diagnose it at all?   Thanks in advance
    • Gazette seem to be suggesting club and JW want him to stay given his influence around the place. I should have added the above post was not my own prediction of who will stay or go but more what Gazette are seemingly suggesting.
    • The police struggle with their duties during a short spike in crime on a regular day. That, along with the government's long desire to portray the changing face of crime and how we increasingly need to change to fight more digital crime, is going to be a factor in how many coppers we have on the streets to enforce these things. The government has now been forced to accept that enforcement may be needed to keep people indoors, which goes drastically against their ideal distribution of officers. Going significantly against their ideal setup is becoming quite a theme during this pandemic. As I said earlier, this doesn't mean higher levels of lockdown are on the way, what it may mean is that higher levels of enforcement will be dispatched in order to enforce the current lockdown procedures.
    • Why would we want Friend to stay, He was a brilliant player, now he cannot play three games on the spin.
