FA Cup 3rd round draw Spurs Home

Recommended Posts

Boro are ball number 26 in tonight's 3rd round draw for this seasons FA Cup.

Will this be a distraction to the importance of the season?

Who are you hoping to get be it home or away from The Riverside?

Will we get dumped early doors?

Are we now afforded the title of "giant killers" should we get a lower league team?

Do you really care because we will never win it this season and that you just want it over and done with?

Can we go on a run and bring in much needed finances to the club?

For me let's get a PL team at home for a change

They could send up their ladies team and get through

I'm crying out for a home draw DS because I will be over from the 3rd - 6th Jan for a function so would love to be able to pick up a Boro game while I'm there. If not a home draw at least somewhere reasonably local enough so I can go to the game. UTB

I think a decent Premier League team at home is probably the best thing to hope for. A bit of extra revenue that's a 'free hit'. I think we could do without the added pressure of having to beat a lower league opposition and potentially crashing out early as it will only make feelings/confidence worse.

We can't get drawn against ourselves sadly 🤭

I saw you'd quoted me and it took me about 10 milliseconds to figure out what you'd put as I went back over my own comment in my head. 😂

Yeah, it was a bit of an easy one that in all honesty.  It's like the sort of chance that Assombalonga and Fletcher would have put just 15 feet over the bar 🙂

We'd probably still manage to lose!

(yes I know that doesn't make sense...but then this season hasn't made a lot of sense so far)

Given that league survival has to be our #1 priority, very much so

Who are you hoping to get be it home or away from The Riverside?

As others have said, a home tie against one of the big PL teams would be nice

Will we get dumped early doors?

Yes, if the above happens

Are we now afforded the title of "giant killers" should we get a lower league team?

Haha! Yes.

Do you really care because we will never win it this season and that you just want it over and done with?

A cup run, while always nice, is very much a secondary priority. More games really doesn't help with our already thin squad and lengthy injury list.

Can we go on a run and bring in much needed finances to the club?

I really don't see it unless we get drawn against lower league clubs.
