Tony 54
As a lot of people are probably aware - Woodgate was asked his opinion on the recruitment side of things when Bevington was in charge. He paused and said something like his silence is deafening and says all you need to know on his opinion on that subject. It was reported in the Echo, Gazette and Hartlepool Mail. Since then all of the articles have removed that comment and even posts on FMTTM that quoted that comment have been removed. Anyone know what's going on? Was it supposed to have been said off the record and the club have requested everyone to remove it? It seems a bit strange that it has been wiped from public knowledge. Brunners 7,952
That seems most likely. If it's being removed from everywhere, then it suggests it wasn't meant to be shared in the first place.

p_mards 1,363
Naive comment from Woodgate. The club probably requested them websites to remove it to save the club from further embarrassment. Woodgate probably forgot that he needed to specifically mention that it’s off the record.
RiseAgainst 3,776
Interesting that all the media outlets agreed to MFC's request. You'd expect it from the Gazette, but the Echo haven't always been as quick to toe the party line and appease the club.
