It's a case of us making a couple of bad mistakes I'd say.
Jamie-H 1,322
Now everyone remembers why Mejias could not budge a 40 year old Greek for 2 years...
BillinghamBoro 229
Think the occasion and playing in a huge stadium has got to some of the lads. Doesn't feel like the Boro of current, just the Boro of 2 months ago. Suicidal football from the off. Worrying about how demoralising this could get for us
Stevoboro 70
We can’t keep playing 5 at the back we need to engage there midfield

Yep, harsh truth is keeper lost us the game in first 5 minutes by not being able to think under pressure.
J.T. 640
2 basic mistakes have cost us. Spurs look poor. But we’ve given them the game. One things for sure. None of the players that are out of the normal first 11 are playing themselves into the team. Mejias, Johnson, Clayton, Liddle and Nmecha have all been poor!
Jamie-H 1,322
Meh we've been smashed at home to Wednesday and away to Leeds I don't think getting smashed by CL finalists will affect the team too much I'd prefer not to lose 4/5-0 though

Borodane 6,246
This is just a playground for Tottenham. We’re just nowhere to be seen. If they keep it up it could well be a tennis score.

Jamie-H 1,322
Nmecha's looked lively making decent runs, so there's a positive.

I knew it would be tough, but I didn't expect Boro to basically gift Spurs 2 goals through horrendous keeping and defending. Spence's interception to set up Nmecha is about the only positive thing from Boro. This game is already over as a contest. Its just a matter of how far Spurs feel like pushing...how many they want to win by. Hell of it is, Spurs do look a bit flaky at the back, but we can't take advantage of their mistakes, while Spurs have ruthlessly punished ours.
