Full time. 2-1 Spurs.

Well as bad as Boro were in the first half - in fairness probably shaken by the goalkeeping and defensive howlers early on - they gave Spurs a game in the 2nd half and at least showed everyone what they're capable of when they really try.

Ah well.

This isn't meant as criticism of Woodgate, although it's impossible for it not to be, but we are a poor side when we sit back against any team.  We've seen it often enough this season.  We're better when we're putting pressure on without the ball and having a go when we do have it.

Shame about the early goals but I am very pleased of our showing the players did well to pick themselves up. No shame they did us proud and we walk away very creditable ready to concentrate on the league. UTB!
