Boro will be hitting the road once again, in search of their first win since their 2-0 victory at Preston on New Year's Day...blimey that seems a long time ago now! A spirited, though ultimately

We'd hopefully appoint a decent manager or head coach with the ability to succeed here I suppose.  I don't think Woodgate has demonstrated even slightly that he is that person and that's with people s

We were a mess yesterday, the players looked clueless and that is absolutely down to the manager in my opinion.  If you change your system and the players don't know what they are supposed to be doing

Maybe, like I said above I think it could still be 4-3-3.  That's not the midfield I'd want for 4-3-1-2.

Fair. But then liverpool manage it without a specialised defensive midfielder so why cant we? A lot of people talk about liverpool playing 433 but its definitely a 4312, with mane and Salah ahead of firmino

It should be available on the sky sports app if you have that, not sure if you can get the app for a laptop, though.

I'd still say it was 4-3-3 mate although I do get what you mean.  Salah does tend to be out on the right, Mane out on the left and Firminio through the middle.  They also have midfielders who can defend like Fabinho and Henderson.  I don't rate Saville, McNair or Wing defensively at all.  I also think that Liverpool are a million miles better than us 🙂

i agree its a 433

liverpool midfield has 3 allrounders in it. one who is better at attacking wijnaldum, and one who is better at defending fabinho, henderson is a bit different but combative and a good long range passer.

our 3 are saville mcnair wing. they can all score and have decent strikes but dont have the engine of the liverpool lads and get pulled all over. saville is the best allrounder for me (never though i'd ever say that lol)

we are weak positionaly both paddy and wing get caught out to easy. however if we are going the liverpool route then its the front 3 which have been the weakest area for us by a mile. if we had x2 roberts off fletch or britt we would be scoring a lot of goals.
