Anyone still think we can make the playoffs?

I never did this season. I'm still more concerned about keeping above the drop zone.

I wish this horrible season would just end now there's nothing enjoyable about it at all.

The players should be fined a weeks wages for every corner which hits the first man at this point

Couldn’t agree more almost every cross hits first man or balloons all the way out of play 🤦🏼‍♂️

Who was worse - us or the ref? I'm undecided as both were gash.

From the sound of it, it was just one big ***-fest all round.

Seriously, in a game where we really needed 3 points, we start the same old way, letting Wigan boss the game and take the lead.

Yet again, Boro fail to have any meaningful impact on the game until the 2nd half. Just WTF are Woodgate and the coaches doing with these players that they only play about 45 minutes of every match? 🤬

Only reason we got anything out of this is down to Wing scoring a pretty nice free-kick and hitting one of his trademark long-range screamers. My MOTM for that alone.

Defence - shambolic as usual.

Midfield - created virtually nothing.

Forwards - missed the few good chances we did create.

Same old story. If we continue like this, we could find ourselves back in the bottom 3, sooner rather than later.

This season has been so ***. Not exactly hopeful next year either, with Woodgate and staff in charge.

Ive really wanted him to do well, and given him the benefit of the doubt up until now.

He’s had 32(?) games now, and I still don’t see a style of play we are implementing. He chops and changes the team/formation every week, which isn’t going to help the team. There hasn’t been a game we have dominated from 0–90 minutes. Defensively we look the worst we have since before Karanka. One of the worst teams in the league for goals scored.

We just aren’t improving.

We have won ONLY 8 games all season and drawn 13.. in 32 games can someone explain what Woody has achieved or even what his plan maybe.

His plan or should I say Gibsons plan cos Woody is only the tea boy is that Boro get relegated.

How simple is that.

This was the game we could least afford to lose for the rest of the season, so I'm happy we didn't.

Absolutely rubbish performance though, and we didn't deserve to win against 10 men, which says it all.

6 without a win, 6 without a clean sheet, 6 without scoring first.

I know it sounds daft given our position, but I'm actually enjoying this season more than last season. Last season completely sucked every bit of love for the game out of me. Just crossing my fingers that we can stay up...

So apart from his uncanny ability to score own goals, is Moukoudi any good?

He's a 'unit' apparently.

Very disappointing that we couldn't hold on for the win against 10 man and against a poor side. Must win against Luton on sat

He was always the villain so we had a fluke Christmas and New Year which was so rare for Boro.

Its about time he stepped aside whilst we still have a chance to keep our heads above the waterline.

    • As I type this there's a caravan in a layby on the A689 fully set up with a TV aerial sticking out the top, running eletricity off a portable generator.  It's a road that police patrol often, so I wonder how on earth it's still there. It's been there for nearly a week now.
    • One group of people who are never welcome anywhere will need special attention and that is the actions of travellers, where will they be allowed to stay because as I see it all of the government orders have to apply to them also. Whilst local authorities may act quickly to remove them someone will need to make a choice of allowing them to settle (and all issues which will follow) or simply move them on causing further interaction across the country.
    • Oh and to *** me off even further, I was stopped on my way to work by police on the A19. Good job I had my letter with me, although the hi-viz vest I always wear should have been enough of a clue.
    • Saying and doing might be a very hard thing to do, we do not know if the Police are at full force and cuts in overall man power over the years will leave it impossible for said action. There will be shows of strength and action from time to time concentrating on certain areas and enforcement but that again will be a drain on recourses unless the Army assist. Plus each and every officer is at risk of being exposed more regularly and transmitting to their own families leading to more isolation and reduction of active available man power. You may see the odd "panda" car driving around interacting with MOP but they will deal more with drivers rather than chasing a group of youngsters over a field. Sadly parents will not "police" their own family nor will they be able to trust that their off spring will follow the limits of going outside. We will probably see more drones than police officers
    • Driving home from work last night, saw so many people in the Thorntree area just blatantly ignoring the government's orders and wandering about. Groups of teenagers, old people walking their dogs (it doesn't take two people to walk a dog!) and there was one house which looked like they were having a party! Not a single police car in sight, either. I thought they said they were going to start seriously cracking down on this irresponsible behaviour?
