Denzel Zanzibar 6,931
Don't Panic Live footage from Rockliffe Park: Harold Moukoudi undergoes intense shooting practice: Assombalonga practices penalties: Meanwhile Woody and Leo work on discipline: But it's going to be fine, right? Surely there's no way the mighty Middlesbrough FC can be dragged into a relegation battle? Up next are bottom of the table dwellers Luton Town. Let's be frank, we should be beating these, but this is a transitional Middlesbrough FC side so who knows what will happen. A loss here and you'd have to expect the dreaded relegation fight, but a win could boost confidence, something we're sorely lacking at the moment. Talking points: Score prediction? Formation? Will Moukoudi make it three own goals in as many games? Has Ravel Morrison been to the Bongo yet? Could the return of Shotton and *ahem* George Friend save our season? When do we panic and bring back Browne and Bola? 5
TeaCider24 12,401
-------------------- Pears -------------------- ---------Howson--- Fry---Moukoudi------ Spence -----------------------------Coulson ---------- Saville-----------Wing----------- -----------------Morrison------------------- -----Assombalonga---Fletcher------- Desperately need a win, and we'll not play a worse team till the end of the season. Assombalonga was so bad last night, but we need him fit and scoring to try and shift him in the summer. Pears was poor for a second game in a row, but I don't think he should be dropped yet. AnglianRed 6,229
Score prediction? Luton 1 - 3 Boro Formation? What we should go for... What we'll probably end up with... Will Moukoudi make it three own goals in as many games? Probably worth a punt...yeah, make Luton's goal a Moukoudi OG. 😁 Has Ravel Morrison been to the Bongo yet? If he hasn't, he'll probably want to after yesterday. Could the return of Shotton and *ahem* George Friend save our season? At this point I think only Jesus could save our season...and maybe not even him! When do we panic and bring back Browne and Bola? Don't you think we're in enough trouble as it is? What sort of masochist are you? 😜
wilsoncgp 9,230
I'd put Howson in midfield, I didn't think he did a particularly good job at right-back last night. McNair was pretty useless most the game so I'd absolutely drop him. Pears Spence Moukoudi Fry Coulson Saville Howson Wing Morrison Nmecha Fletcher

I do agree with the 4-1-3-2 though as we've had some good success with it. Not opposed to a 5-3-2 either as i think it suits Coulson and Spence at this stage.

TLF10 4,440
Luton just won at home to Sheff Wed so will come here full of confidence. Also missed a penalty and had a goal disallowed. For what it is worth i would stick with last nights team if fry is fit. It did not click last night but there was plenty of optimism pre match with the starting 11. Britt was off the pace last night but i feel Luton at home could be a good game for him to get a goal. I also feel this is a game where Paddy n Ravel might come to the fore. It is not going to be easy v Luton. I accept they not great but neither are we. I will go for a nervy 2-1 win as anything but 3pts is not worth contemplating.
BoroSmoggie 2,678
I feel we will need our creative players tomorrow, likes of Wing and Morrison. We will likely have lots of the ball and be trying to break them down. The thought of Britt and Fletcher up top in that scenario pains me.
