Notts County are on the verge of completing the signing of former England centre-half Sol Campbell, reports BBC Radio Nottingham.

Campbell agreed to join the League Two side after further talks on Monday and the deal will be confirmed on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving Portsmouth in the summer, will sign in a purely playing capacity.

This move just stinks of money, Why would you turn down an opportunity to play in either the Premiership or CCC to sign for Notts County in Division 2?

Great move for Notts County but wtf.

Do you think they would give us £15 million and they could have Alves,Arca and Hoyte.
