Conor Marley was born on 20 March 2000 in Newcastle, England. He signed for Middlesbrough FC in 2016 and became a regular in the U18s.
The central midfielder, who can play as an attacking midfielder and on both flanks of the midfield, played a total of 26 games for the U18s in his debut season. The following season saw him move a step higher to the U23s, where he featured 14 times and scored once.
2018/2019 would feature his consistent development at the club, particularly with the U23s, and this was evident in the 20 appearances made and the three goals notched by him. In the same vein, he featured two times as an unused sub in the first team's games against Rochdale and Preston North End.
On May 2019, he signed a new three-year contract keeping him at the club until 2022.
