Born on 1 June 1993 in Camberley, England, the former Chelsea junior was unable to play a single game for the senior Blues. However, he was sent on loan spells to Millwall and Brentford before he was eventually sold to Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2014.
His first season at Molineux didn’t go as expected, and due to his lack of involvement in the first team, he went on a 93-day loan to Bristol City, where he made 8 appearances and scored one goal.
Saville’s good fortunes with the Wolves senior team spanned through January 2016 to the end of the 2016/2017 season. In that period, he made 47 appearances.
In July 2017 he signed for Millwall, his former loan club, on a permanent three-year deal. He scored 10 goals for the Lions that season and helped them finish 8th, narrowly missing out on the play-offs.
At the start of the 2018/2019 season, he joined Middlesbrough FC on loan before making a permanent move to the club for around £8 million.
The midfielder has been capped by Northern Ireland in a FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Germany, playing 10 minutes of the encounter.
